Introduction:
Circulating fluidized bed is of low-temperature combustion, therefore, nitrogen oxides emissions of such boiler is much lower than that of coal-powder boiler, and such boiler could directly desulfurized during combustion process. Circulating fluidized bed boiler with high desulfurization rate is economical.
Circulating fluidized bed boiler could adopt various coal types and has high combustion efficiency, which is especially suitable for low quality, low calorific value coal.

1. Water wall panels: placed aroud the boiler combustion chamber
Boiler water walls are membrane walls that are made of tubes welded together with or without a strip of metal in between. These walls form the enclosure of the coal combustion chamber. Water wall tubes are also referred to as the evaporator section; they contain water mostly in liquid form which gradually evaporates as it rises in the boiler.

3. Rotary air preheater
Rotary Air preheater recovers the heat from the flue gas and transfers the same to the combustion air to the boiler thus reducing the fuel consumption of the boiler.
The efficiency of Rotary Air preheater is very high compared to the Tubular air preheater.
Air preheater rotor is divided into compartments in which the heating elements are packed. Heating elements in the Air preheater plays a major role for the heat transfer from the flue gas to the combustion air.
